Kiss me Kate has been in operation for 42 years.
Owner Shannon Fox, a former flight attendant who traveled the world in pursuit of fashion, purchased the business 20 years ago. Today she is continuing to add unique and one of a kind pieces to the store.
Shannon began her career traveling the world as a flight attendant with Braniff International. She was captivated by the far east on her layovers in “The Orient.” Her store is very much a reflection of the colorful artistry of these places she has traveled to. You can also see the trendy uniform she wore back then, on display in the store.
In her many years of jet-setting, she would often be consulted on being a personal shopper for her coworkers. She was in love with fashion and could dress anyone!
After finishing her exciting career in the airways, she pursued real estate sales as well as a home based business selling clothing. Meanwhile, her husband started the first sunglasses stores in the United States, which was later sold to the Sunglass Hut in 1985.
Between the two of them, there is a vast knowledge of the industry. Shannnon is so passionate about her store, and it shows!
